Allan KaneVice President, Hospitality

Allan joined Zuppler in early 2013 to spearhead our penetration into the Hospitality division. This division, offers VRS (Virtual Room Service) for the limited service vertical in the hotel industry within the United States.

Allan came from a background of serving in a Senior Management role with major hotel brands such as Holiday Inn, Intercontinental. Allan was Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Choice Hotels where he served in that capacity for 9 years.

Fun Fact:When in his free time, Allan can be found 'down on the farm' with his wife Susanna, and their 20 Horses, 7 Peacocks, 2 Cows, and a plethora of other farm animals.

Beth joined the team with an extensive background in design and project management in a variety of industries. She has always had a knack for helping people and businesses create the best services and products by listening to their needs and having strong communication and understanding to come up with great solutions. She’s very happy to bring her organization skills and her resourcefulness to the Zuppler team and our wonderful clients.

Fun Fact:Beth is very crafty. She likes to make projects such as candles, hand-bound books, and furniture in her free time and worked in the fashion design and interior design industries for many years. She also has a cuddly calico cat named Jem.

Bogdan SilivestruSr. UI Designer & Front-End Engineer

With over 12 year experience in the industry Bogdan is frequently called "the UI sensei". He is focused on new web technologies, usability and best practices. He is known for his creativity and the ability to understand the big picture, while able to focus on small details.

Fun Fact:When Bogdan runs out of inspiration, he start playing his electric guitar, getting his colleagues crazy.

Brandt WaplesCustomer Success Manager

With a mixed background in Hospitality and Human Resource Management, Brandt is a key member on the Customer Support Team. His keen interpersonal skills have helped assist both restaurants and customers with orders and coordinate nightly dispatch. Behind the scenes, Brandt  often assists with various projects such as menu validation, menu updates, and trouble shooting hardware.

Fun Fact:Brandt is a self claimed walking encyclopedia. His knowledge base of random topics and various facts has made him a foe in Quizzo. Some nights he even finds himself able to compete in Jeopardy.   

Brandon MashJunior Graphic Designer

Coming with some experience from an ad agency, my strong passion for the fundamentals of graphic design and looking to sharpen up my skills and really grow creativity led me to Zuppler. With my fine attention to detail and my determination to always keep learning and growing, I hope to help push Zuppler further creatively.

Fun Fact:When I’m not busy with graphic design you can usually find me at my MMA gym decompressing my stress with some Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Bridget ValleleyProject Coordinator

Bridget has a passion for food, people and great service. With these passions and a background in customer service and event planning she is excited to bring a fresh perspective to the Zuppler Project Management team.

Long story short, Caitlyn stumbled into marketing a couple years ago on a cold winter day and since then it's been love ever since. She may not have a degree in marketing, but what she does have are a very particular set of skills, skills that she has acquired through the years. Skills that make a dream for businesses.

Fun Fact:Caitlyn is a Leo who loves flowers, wandering outside in nature and getting lost in the stars. She is also a mother to a turtle and loves tacos.

As a child I was told I have vivid imagination so when I grew up I decided to change the world with it, so I started web designing. I recently started working on Zuppler and I can say that every day I learning new interesting things.

Emily is thrilled to bring her passion for excellent service to the project management team at Zuppler. By fostering open lines of communication with clients, she is able to facilitate the on-boarding process for new and existing accounts. With a previous background in hospitality, event planning, and catering, Emily is a natural at relationship management and problem solving. And she prides herself on the ability to maintain an excellent sense of humor during even the most trying of times!

Fun Fact:Emily is actually a Certified Wedding Planner and has attended more weddings in a year than many have in a lifetime! She also has an undying appreciation for folk music, mismatched socks, and her snuggly black cat, Eve.

Iulian CostanChief Technology Officer

As the CTO of Zuppler, Syca is responsible for the systems architecture and the cloud based infrastructure. Syca is also responsible for some of the key system integration projects with POS systems, loyalty providers, payment processors etc.

Syca is passionate about Continuous Integration solutions and test driven development. He specializes in high volume transaction systems that runs on the cloud with special emphasize to automated scaling and monitoring.Fun Fact:Syca is an adventure junkie and a world traveler and has climbed Mt. Blanc in the French Alps.

Jacob GallagherClient Success Manager

Jake graduated from Penn State University with a degree in hotel, Restaurant, & Institutional management. He comes from a background of managing high volume, fast paced restaurants. Jake brings his knowledge in restaurants, as well as his interpersonal skills, to manage integrated accounts. Jake also supports the marketing team in various activities.

Fun Fact: In his spare time he enjoys cooking. He is also a huge sports fanatic, being a die-hard fan of Penn State football, as well as all Pittsburgh sports teams.   

Jessica ChudClient Success Manager

Jessica graduated from Johnson & Wales with a degree in Hospitality Management. She came from a background in the restaurant management field with over 15 years experience. Jessica oversees the management of all live accounts, while supporting various other departments.

Fun Fact:Jessica loves New England beaches and seafood.

Kordalin Chynret (Kate)Sr. Customer Support Specalist

Have worked in customer service for the past 10 years. Was a Quality Analyst for 5 years with a BPO and then moved on to become a Team leader in operations for another 2-3 years. Carrying on with this experience on customer support with Zuppler.

Fun Fact:Could one day be an influential Minister of India with all the political experience she's gathered campaigning with her dad.

Lauren CasaleProject Coordinator

Lauren graduated from Rowan University with a degree in Communications. Over the years she has grown a useful set of skills in customer service, time management and multitasking and is looking forward to applying them here at Zuppler.

Fun Fact:Lauren enjoys being active and outdoors. Her favorite sport is golf and she loves being out on the course, as long as there is no snow on the ground!

Mary manages all restaurant and catering sales for Zuppler as well as ensuring client success and retention.

Mary is a 20+ year professional in sales, sales management and training across a variety of industries including: Healthcare M&A, Electronics, Hospitality. Mary practices consultative sales by understanding a potential client's business and developing a solution to meet their needs.

Fun Fact:Mary was on a Russian cruise ship that went through the eye of a hurricane and she received a survival certificate.

Mark GreensteinCustomer Support Specialist

Mark has wended his way to Zuppler through a long stint working Front-of-House in too many Philadelphia restaurants to mention before being routed through an Email Marketing tools company and specializing in email list management. He currently picks up and respins all customers' spinning plates and throws himself into Zuppler Customer Care with energy and alacrity.

Fun Fact:Mark has been a touring musician in a past life and is currently attempting to write, produce, record and perform a solo album that isn't terrible.

Neida Joseph AbelVice President of Operations

Responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of both external and internal operational processes and all project management.

As a creative little girl Neida loved arts and crafts and was always playing with beads while cultivating a ground-breaking mind selling jewelry creations to neighbors and friends. To officially launch her career, Neida left her home in Puerto Rico to head to Carnegie Mellon University to secure a dual degree in business and graphic design. With an entrepreneurial spirit, determination and strength in keeping things organized, she thrived in procedures and processes as her career progressed, while continuing to hone her skills. Always being passionate about the needs and goals of her clients, she became a specialist in and found professional success in project and operations management.

Fun Fact:Neida is still an avid artist, so much so that she created an entire metalsmithing workshop in her basement to keep up with her jewelry creations to this day.

PallaviHead, India Operations

From Economics to Social Work to an MBA in Human Resource, for Pallavi people's always been the focus. She loves to organize and find solutions for herself and others,becoming the self declared leader wherever the situation demands.

She's worked with Children at World Vision and learnt Fundraising and Marketing working with Greenpeace. She takes pride in being a founder member of Zuppler, helping Zuppler grow and learning a lot in the process.

Petrica GhiurcaVice President, Product Development

Petrica is responsible for the design and development of the consumer facing products of Zuppler. He works closely with Bogdan (Creative Designer) in building awesome solutions for our customers.

Petrica is a full stack developer and is passionate about UI technologies. As an active contributors to the open source community he is always doing cool things with the latest and greatest in web technologies.

Fun Fact:Petrica is a developer by profession but a farmer at heart. He grows his own vegetables and loves to grill.

Shiva SrinivasanFounder & CEO

Shiva was instrumental in growing Zuppler as a complete order fulfillment solution for restaurants, groceries, hospitals, universities and hotels since its founding in 2009. A technologist by heart, Shiva is passionate about building efficient teams and processes, strategic partnerships and a global solution.

Prior to founding Zuppler Shiva worked as a Chief Architect & Strategist and provided management consulting services to Fortune 100 clients. Prior to this, Shiva led a global team of engineers at Synygy Inc. to build and manage the leading incentive compensation enterprise suite of products. It is at Synygy where Shiva met with Iulian Costan and Petrica Ghiurca (Co-founders of Zuppler).

Fun Fact:Shiva is an avid tennis player and played alongside with the likes of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi (former world #1 doubles pair).

Chris MaloneBoard of Directors

Chris Malone is Founder and Managing Partner of Fidelum Partners, which is based outside Philadelphia in Newtown Square, PA.

Chris has over 20 years of sales, marketing, consulting and organizational leadership experience, and a track record of driving growth and profitability. He held senior marketing positions at leading organizations such as Choice Hotels, ARAMARK, Coca- Cola, the National Basketball Association, and Procter & Gamble and has consulted to a broad range of Fortune 500 companies.

As Chief Marketing Officer of Choice Hotels, one of the largest hotel companies in the world, with over 6,000 hotels open worldwide, Chris led the companyʼs 800 person global consumer marketing, worldwide travel industry sales, e-commerce and reservations organization. Previously he served as Senior Vice President, Marketing for ARAMARK Corporation, a multinational food, facility and uniform services enterprise with over $12 billion in annual revenue.

Chris is also co-author of the award-winning book, The HUMAN Brand: How We Relate to People, Products & Companies, which was published by the Jossey-Bass division of Wiley Publishing in October 2013.

Chris holds a bachelorʼs degree from the University of Maryland at College Park and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Matt is currently the CEO of FarmedHere - a leading sustainable and organic indoor vertical farm. Prior to FarmedHere, Matt founded and grew Protein Bar to a 22 location restaurant chain. Matt’s vision for Protein Bar is to help people everywhere live the healthy lifestyle they want to live through a balanced menu of blended drinks, wholesome quinoa bowls, salads, raw juices, and our signature Protein Bar-ritos. Matt’s Protein Bar is also one of the original clients of Zuppler.

Ted PastvaBoard of Directors

Ted is a finance executive and business partner of e-commerce; consumer; and service management businesses with demonstrated ability to develop growth objectives while incorporating sustainable processes and controls. He has exposure to numerous M&A activities and integrations as well as recent IPO event at Grubhub. Prior to Grubhub - Seamless, Ted was the AVP of finance at Aramark.

Sashi ReddiBoard of Directors

Sashi is the founder and managing partner of SRI Capital.

Previously, Sashi was the founder and CEO of AppLabs, the world's largest independent software testing company with over 2,500 QA professionals in India, the US, and the UK. AppLabs was funded by Sequoia Capital India. CSC acquired AppLabs in September 2011. Series A investors in AppLabs received a 10X return on their investment in 6 years.

A serial entrepreneur, Sashi has started three other companies prior to AppLabs. These were EZPower Systems (web content management pioneer acquired by DocuCorp, and eventually a part of Oracle), iCoop (group purchasing dotcom), and FXLabs (leading Indian game developer acquired by Foundation 9 Entertainment).

Sashi received his BTech in Computer Science from the IIT Delhi, an MS in Computer Science from NYU, and later a PhD from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Sashi serves on the advisory board of Wharton Entrepreneurship and the board of Ben Franklin Technology Partners. He is also on the board of T-Hub, which expects to become the largest incubator in India, housing over 1,000 startups in the next 3 years. He is a charter member of TiE Philadelphia and TiE Hyderabad.
