Job Description:

The Project Manager (PM) will work with our VP, Operations on various accounts. The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific technology projects.  This position will work closely with both the functional and the technical areas coordinating the project phases from beginning to end.  The successful candidate will ensure consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will lead or contribute on one or more projects in the following areas:

  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identifies cross-functional resources as needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
  • Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  • Manages cross functional teams to ensure timely execution of implementation.
  • Monitors and reports on the progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
  • Effectively applies the PMO project methodology and enforces project standards.
  • Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
  • Minimizes company exposure and risk on project.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills along with strong analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • PM will have the ability to effectively communicate including; reading, writing, speaking to a wide range of needs and audiences
  • PM must be skilled at explaining technical terms in everyday language
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability and willingness to complete several concurrent tasks with attention to time constraints, quality and sufficient detail
  • PM must possess critical thinking and problem solving skills, planning and organizational skills, decision-making skills, and communication skills
  • The candidate must be able to influence and lead a variety of different skill-level sets in accomplishing the projects' objectives
  • Must be able to delegate, be a team leader and player, demonstrate negotiation skills as well as manage conflict among individuals sharing the same resources
  • The PM will be proficient in project management software and will continually update skills and knowledge relative to the position and the technology industry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/work experience
  • Three to five years of progressive Project Management experience using industry standard project management standards
  • Proven track record of success in managing enterprise-wide projects with proven leadership, teamwork, and client management experience
  • Must have demonstrated work experience with project management methodology and project management software
  • Cheerful attitude
  • Demonstrable proficiency of Microsoft Office including Excel, SharePoint and Word
